Ad Film
Adishtu is a start-up brand revolutionizing the packaged food market with trustable, transparent snacking. Using sweet essences from dates and raisins, Adishtu’s bars offer a wholesome alternative to unhealthy options, with no preservatives, added sugars, chemicals, or artificial sweeteners. Adishtu ensures clear labelling and sustainable practices, guaranteeing guilt-free indulgence without compromise.
The Ask
Adishtu approached us with a request to create an ad film at an affordable cost to boost its brand awareness and promotion, particularly for YouTube. The objective was to emphasize Adishtu’s commitment to providing products without sweeteners or preservatives, showcasing their energy bars as a healthy, wholesome alternative to unhealthy snacking. Our task was to highlight these key aspects and effectively communicate Adishtu’s values and unique selling points through a compelling and engaging video, without breaking the bank.
The Execution Process
The execution process for this project was relatively swift since we only needed to refine the client’s existing concept.
We suggested using a green screen to save on the cost of elaborate set design and props. We aligned the script and screenplay to emphasize Adishtu’s products as healthy, free from artificial additives, sweeteners, and preservatives.
The video flow was kept simple, interspersing shots of two actors caught in a dilemma over choosing a healthy energy bar, with sound bites from the founder to strengthen the brand’s claim of providing energy bars enriched with natural ingredients and flavours. To further save on costs, the client did the voice-over in the background of the actors’ shots, eliminating the need to hire a voice-over artist.
We shot the video in one day at a studio in Coimbatore, in front of a green screen, with a crew of 8-10 members. The project was wrapped up in less than a month, which is notably fast compared to the average timelines in the video production space. Additionally, we managed administrative tasks such as contracts and payments, allowing Adishtu to focus entirely on the creative aspects of the collaboration.
Making our ad video was a fantastic experience. The cinematographer did a great job following directions, was patient, and really helpful while we were recording. The actors also played a significant role, providing guidance that enhanced our videos. Overall, everything went smoothly.

This project not only met Adishtu’s objectives but also demonstrated our commitment to providing value and expertise, reinforcing our ability to produce quality results within budget constraints.
